Aldo is the founder of BSP Pharmaceuticals, which was incorporated in 2006 together with Patheon Inc. and Swiss Pharma.

He is a member of the Advisory Board of "PM & Partners", a private equity firm specialized in investing in small and middle sized companies. Aldo has been President of Patheon Europe, a subsidiary of Patheon Inc., since 2010 and developed the company in Europe starting from 1999.

Aldo's career includes 29 years with Bristol Myers Squibb European operations, where he held positions of increasing responsibility. He served Bristol Myers Squibb, as President - Worldwide Manufacturing Operations at Medicines Group.
Aldo is trained as an Industrial Chemist. He is a graduate of Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.

Antonella joined BSP in May 2015 as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the BSP Executive Committee. She has almost 24 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to joining BSP she worked with Kedrion S.p.A. , an Italian multinational Bio Pharmaceutical Company, as Chief Operating Officer. She has worked for Patheon Inc. from 2001 to 2013 by culminating her career to the position as President, Global Commercial Operations and Chief Manufacturing Officer.In this position she was managing all the Patheon's plants (EU and USA), and was responsible for the global Engineering, Procurement, Business Management, EHS roles.
Antonella held progressively senior roles in manufacturing during her six years at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Italy. Antonella has also worked at Select Pharma and Bioprogress. She holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from La Sapienza University of Rome.

Anna Maria holds this position at BSP since 2008.
She also serves BSP as advisor for business development, corporate, and manufacturing functions for both the Italian headquarters and the US branch. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of BSP from 2008 to 2011.
Prior to joining BSP, Anna Maria was an associate at the law firm CLLQ - Collodel, Leone, Ligi, Queirolo in Rome. Anna Maria is a member of the Italian bar.

Ugo has joined BSP Pharmaceuticals in 2006. He has more than 40 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining BSP, he acted as Executive Senior Director of Finance at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., Medicines Group, Technical Operations, Puerto Rico – with the responsibility of four manufacturing sites and six plants. His experience within the pharmaceutical business varies from the chemical to the finishing manufacturing, covering all aspects of Financial & Resources Management, including Internal & External Controls & Compliance.
Ugo holds a M.S. degree in Finance & Accounting – University of Rome, Italy.

Giorgio has joined BSP Pharmaceuticals in 2008. He brings 25 years of experience in the Human Resources. He began his career in 1988 in Bristol Myers Squibb and in operational responsibility roles for several Italian subsidiaries of Multinational Companies such as Crown Cork & Seal Company and Hilti Corporation. His professional career is also enriched by relevant experiences achieved in the general management of State Services Companies as well as in the Organizational Consultant field. He holds a Law Degree from L.U.I.S.S. University in Rome and he is professionally qualified for the Italian Bar Association.

Andrea joined BSP Pharmaceuticals in 2014. Andrea started his career in Menarini Pharmaceuticals where during ten years he held positions of increasing responsability up to Group Controller. Later Andrea has worked as European Finance Director for five years in Patheon Inc. Afterwards he expanded his experience working for nine years in the fashion industry where he has served as CFO for two well known global brands. He has also served over the years as Board Director and Auditor in many companies in Italy and abroad.
Andrea holds a Degree in Business Administration at Bocconi University, Milan and he is a Registered Chartered Accountant.

Giulia has joined BSP in 2009 and she serves the company as Supply Chain Manager.
Prior to joining BSP, Giulia has developed her professional experience at GE Healthcare.
Giulia holds a Degree in Political Sciences from L.U.I.S.S. University in Rome and a M.S. from Bocconi University in Milan.

Maria Elena Guadagno leads the Business Unit Organization,  with responsibility of  Technical Business Development, Business Management and Technology Transfer departments, she joined BSP Pharmaceuticals in 2008.
Prior to joining BSP Pharmaceuticals, Maria Elena has achieved a significant experience in Tech Transfer Project Management at Patheon and developed her professional and technical growth in Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble. Maria Elena holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies from the University of Naples.

Marco joined BSP in September 2015 as Corporate Quality Operations Director. Marco started his career in the Regulatory Affairs of Chiron Vaccines. In 2004 he joined Patheon Italy where he developed his professional growth with increasing roles of responsibility up to Compliance Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. In 2013 Marco joined Abbott as Third Part Manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager. Marco holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies from the University of Siena.

Massimiliano joined BSP in October 2021 as IT Director. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT field of Pharmaceutical Industry.
Before joining BSP, most of his experience matured in Bristol-Myers Squibb IT Department and Global Supply Chain as Regional Data Manager EMEA.
In the last four years he worked as IT Manager for MAGNA International, one of the biggest company in the automotive industry, where he was also responsible for the CyberSecurity.

Fabio has joined BSP Pharmaceuticals in 2007 as EHS & Toxicology Director and Qualified Person. Fabio has more than twenty-year professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in manufacturing, quality, technical management and EHS at Schering-Plough and Bristol Myers Squibb in positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies from University of Rome La Sapienza and he is professionally qualified for the practice of pharmacy.

enrico polastro

Enrico Polastro is the Vice President and Senior Industry Specialist of the Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals practice of Arthur D. Little. He is based in their Brussels office with particular focus on generic pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical fine chemicals, fields where he has worked in and has been consulting for since now thirty years.
Prior to joining Arthur D.Little, Dr. Polastro worked for several years for a Solvay and Monsanto where he held various positions in R&D and production scaling-up both in Europe and the US. Dr Polastro has authored more than fifty articles papers on pharmaceutical manufacturing as well as on the fine chemicals industry, contributing also to the Ulmann Chemical Encyclopedia. He has teached basis of Finance and Marketing at the Technical University of Brussels. Dr. Polastro has a Doctorate in biochemistry from both the University of Brussels and the Philadelphia Temple University. He has also a Master in Science of Management from Boston University.

Dr. Georg Nederegger (22.7.1961).
Received his Master and Doctor degree in finance and economics from University of Innsbruck From 1988 until 1993 worked in roles in Finance at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals (in Austria and in Headquarters in Basel/Switzerland).
In 1993 joined McKinsey and Company where he stayed for 27 years, was elected Partner in 1999, and Senior Partner in 2004. He focused his consulting work on companies in the fields of healthcare and life sciences.
In 2020 he started to serve on boards of private companies.

a Dutch national, was EVP and CFO of Mead Johnson Nutrition based in Chicago until 2018, MJN is a global leader in pediatric nutrition. Since 2011 he was the CFO and Board member of DE Master Blenders 1753, (currently JDE Peets Coffee), a global pure coffee & tea player and was as CFO responsible for the carve out from Sara Lee in Chicago and the subsequent listing at the stock exchange in Amsterdam in 2012. He was closely involved in the merger with the Mondelez coffee activities after taking private in 2014. From 2009 until 2011 he was EVP and CFO of Provimi, a global Animal Nutrition company based in Rotterdam the Netherlands, which was acquired by Cargill end of 2011. Before that Michel served as CFO Asia Pacific for Numico (Danone), a pure play infant and adult nutrition company, where he was based in Singapore. Since 1999 he had several finance roles within Numico based in the US and The Netherlands. Michel started his career as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte in the Netherlands.
Most recently he is working as an independent advisor and board member of several companies in the CPG and Pharma industry. Since 2021 he also is as a board member of Polpharma Biologics BV. He has a post-doctoral degree from the University of Tilburg Netherlands.
